School Ceilidh

Thanks to all children, parents, grandparents and staff who came along and joined in at the Ceilidh in Middleton Village Hall on Thursday 2nd Feb.

It was a wonderful night of dancing, singing and poetry recital and Gary Coupland kept us all thoroughly entertained. The Scottish Poems were recited by the winners from each year group as follows:

P1 Eliot, P2 Sophia, P3 Lockie, P4 Naomi, P5 Callum, P6 Blair, P7 Jemma

The P7 boys also recited their own ‘Address to the Lassies’ and the P7 girls gave their ‘Reply to the Laddies’ which were both highly amusing!

The Scottish Hamper raffle was won by Blair’s Dad and the Scottish Place Name prize (family tubing voucher and chocs) was won by Corran.
