On the 14th of March 2017, class 3 went on a trip to Stirling Castle for their Scottish wars of independence topic. We all really enjoyed the trip and learnt a lot about the castle’s history. As soon as we arrived we knew it would be an interesting experience. At the front of the castle there were lots of cannons that everybody thought were cool. At the drawbridge there was a massive queue, but it was worth the wait to see the wonderful rooms and exhibits inside. We saw many things including the Great Hall, The Great Kitchens, The Grand Battery, Chapel Royal, Queen Anne Garden and The Queen’s Bedroom. It was an exciting trip and it helped us massively with our topic.
