Please find attached the February Headteacher’s Newsletter.
This provides an update on the school improvement plan and dates for your diary until the Easter holidays.
Thank you 🙂
The purpose of the MCC neighbourhood plan is to enable people who live and work in the Moorfoot area to work with relevant agencies and contribute ideas and activities that ensure the valued rural nature is maintained at the same time as supporting requirements for the area and communities to thrive.
A copy of the plan is attached.
If you would like to be more involved please contact the school in the first instance.
The next Parent Teacher Group will be held in school on Friday 18th January at 11.00am – please join us if you can.
Any agenda items should be sent to PTG Chair Lisa Hobson at lannewilson@yahoo.com
Please find attached our class newsletters for January to April.
Thank you to our teaching staff for preparing these.
What a busy December we have had here at Moorfoot Primary School! We have had our drumming performances, a nursery Christmas Stay and Play, our school show Cinderella and Rockerfella, our Christmas lunch, our Wider Achievements Assembly, a trip to the Fairy Trail at Archerfield, a Christmas Service at the Village Hall, a Christmas Movie afternoon, Christmas parties and a whole school trip to the Lyceum Theatre to see Wendy and Peter Pan. We have even had visits from Santa Claus!
We enjoyed a whole school Christmas Sing-along this morning where each class has put forward two of their favourite Christmas hits.
May I take this opportunity to wish everyone connected to Moorfoot Primary School a very Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2019 when it comes.
I look forward to welcoming the children back to school on Tuesday 8th January.
Kind regards,
Lynsey Stevenson
